Evan's Eagle Project - Troop 81 (BWVFC - Island Project) PDF Print E-mail
BWVFC Island

What is the Project?

Evan from Boy Scout Troop 81 will be making changes to the front driveway at the Bradford Woods fire station.  The new area will include an island with a 35-foot flag pole, a borough and fire company sign, plantings and a brick walkway leading from the front door to the island.  The flagpole and sign will be accented by neighbor-friendly lights.

Who is it for?

The project is designed for those who live or visit Bradford Woods in hope to improve and beautify the area. Since this property is the home of the Bradford Woods  Fire Company, Borough Office and social events; it is often thought of as the hub of the Bradford Woods Community.   This Boy Scout Eagle Project is intended for the benefit of this community.

How Can I Help?

Anyone can help by ordering a personally ENGRAVED brick and becoming a permanent part of the Bradford Woods community and this project.  Donations in addition to or in place of ordering a brick are also accepted.

Where Does the Money Go?

As this is a Boy Scout Eagle Project, 100% of the monies will go  towards the materials used in this project. The benefactor of this project is the community of Bradford Woods on the Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Company property.  Any excess monies received from these donations will be donated to the Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Company for similar future projects. The donations are completely tax deductible as allowed by law.  Checks should be made out to “Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Company” and note “Island Eagle Scout Project” on the check.

This is a Boy Scout Eagle project in which all donations will cover the costs of the project.  Please do not confuse this with any donations normally given to the Bradford woods Volunteer Fire Company. As with all Boy Scout Eagle Projects we work with different community organizations to benefit the community.  Your donations will not only help you to become involved in helping a great project benefiting the community, but also allows you to become a permanent part of Bradford Woods. Order forms can be found online (click below) or at the Fire Company.
